At present, the fax machine, answering machine, cordless telephone terminal equipment such as telephone users every day to wait a long time in the state. When the fax is concluded, the end of a and b is equivalent to open, then there will not be on the voltage of C1, IC is not working, SCR end, no outlet 220V voltage, fax back to the waiting state. To send a fax, you can just click the K1.

Component selection circuits are used in all the diodes 1N4007. D5 green light-emitting diodes, light work, not work off. D17 red light-emitting diode, the work does not light, wait for the state of light. Use micro-current trigger SCR SCR 2A600V. Use optocoupler IC MOC3041. Other components are marked according to the schematic on the parameters of selection.
