What are Patches for The Sims 2 and do i have to download one for each of the games installed on my laptop?

to be honest you don’t necessarily need the patches,
right to get them go to the ea sims website and there will be one patch for each expansion pack or game, it will tell you what the patch fixes, and they mainly fix things that aren’t quite right in the game, my girlfriend plays the sims like 24/7 and half of the errors that they fix, she didn’t even know occured in the game.

just make sure that if you install the patches for any of the games that you have the original disks because if it goes wrong you’l need the disks to reinstall, know it sounds stupid but if you install like 10 expansion packs, you still only use one disc to play the game so u may have misplaced one of the other discs because you probably haven’t used them for months
